[Imbuing] How to REMOVE a modifier from an item ?

I have been trying to imbue a ring and a bracelet only with skill points (maxed at 15 each skill).

In order to save up on ingredients, I am using existing jewellery with already some of the skills I am interested.

Of course, this jewellery also have other mods on which I am not interested in.

Before imbuing the skills I want, I thought of removing the unwanted modifiers so has to reduce the Totall Property weight and so make Imbuing less costly.

But I cannot find the proper way to remove a modifier, entirely. I can only set it to a minimum value of 1% for example, but not take it out.

How do I remove a given modifier from an item ?

Thanks.

No way to remove a modifier that I know of.
There is a way to over-write skill modifiers with a different skill if they are in the same skill group.
It is one of the reason why some of us actually look through the low end loot...to find the pieces with 1 or 2 mods that are at 100% and then add to them. The 4 and 5 mod jewelry pieces just never seem to have the right combos on them. You end up with something like this fc 1 fcr 3 poison resist 3 physical resist 5 cold resist 7 which takes a great ring mage ring and makes it much less valuable.
