Hello everyone, Need some advise from all of you who is good at Imbuing.

How to craft a armor like this?? what are the step???
Do you first make the armor then imbuing then echance???
or use heartwood make the armor first then imbuing???
Look carefully at how many stat it has and thank for your advise and time.

1. Make wooden armour
2. Imbue the desired properties
3. Enhance with Heartwood

Looks like that piece had HPI, MR, Mage Armour and LMC imbued before enhancing. Enhancing with Heartwood gave it the 5 HCI mod.

Make the armor out of regular wood, imbue and then enhance with heartwood.

Heartwood has a random property depending on what your looking for. This guy got mage armor on the woodland arms.

It can be very expensive depending on what your looking to create. Luck doesn't hurt.

Even with the Forged Metal of Artifacts I burned through 4 or 5 of them before getting the pieces I wanted.

The armor part has 51 total resist, so there arent any resists imbued. Just craft armor parts with heartwood until you got the resist combination you want and the 5 HCI. Then imbue the rest. Dont forget to you use PoF before you start imbuing. Might take some time to get such a resist combination and the hci tho.

i dont think so. when u craft with the heartwood then too many of the properties show up in the imbue count (max 5)

looks to me like it was crafted, then imbued, then enhanced

What qualities do you want the imbued armor to have? I make armors to sell that are 100% LRC, all 70's Resists with Mana Regeneration 6, Stamina Regeneration 4, and Nightsight using barbed & regular leather which sell well for humans, Orcs, & Gargoyles. I used to make Leaf Armor for Elves but it didn't sell.

Post what features you would want the complete suit of armor to have and I'll see what's involved in doing it. Might be a combination of features that will be popular on Chessie. :)

which i asked this question before but got no anwser.

when crafting armor such as leather armor.
i get some stats of 6 or 7 but sometimes they count and sometimes they dont count in the imbue property count.
why do sometimes they count and sometimes they dont?

Resist stats often get boosted when you use a runic kit to make the armor piece. I run into that when I make the Nightsight gorgets using Horned Runic Kits. I need two imbuing slots free on the gorgets so I can add Mana Regeneration 1 and LRC 17 to them. About half the Nightsight gorgets wind up having to get tossed in the Unraveling bag because the gorgets have to many slots used up because a couple of resists got boosted by the runic kit and they didn't have the two imbuing slots free.

Other than the gorgets being runic to get Nightsight without using Ichor, the other five pieces are made with barbed leather using normal sewing kits. Those pieces have all 5 imbuing slots free.

I do need to use barbed leather for some of the Nightsight gorgets to get higher resist numbers because the Orc Kin Masks have low resist numbers. A regular leather gorget & an Orc Kin Mask together make getting all resists up to 70 a bit of a trick.

EDIT: Another possibility is you tried to use the Last property imbuing feature on a different material item. You can't set up a resist boost for a leather armor piece, then use the 'Last Property' option to do the same on a cloth hat or an Orc Kin Mask, or vice versa. The message just says you can't do it, not why. If you go through the setup process for that imbuing feature again having targeted the different material item, the imbuing will then work.

no your first explanation makes sense and that is what i was seeing.

using runic sewing kit the properties that count for imbueing are the ones that got boosted and not necessary because of any certain values on them.

i do mine to just get mana regen +2 (along with stealth armor - leather)
then i use those with enough free properties to let me do the luck and lrc on them. usually about 60% of them i cant use.

1. Craft with Normal carpentry tool, regular wood. Try to get the random Exceptional/Lore resists where they will do you the best, taking into account what they will be after enhancement.
2. Powder to 255 durability
3. Imbue LMC, MR, mage armor, HPI in that order
4. Enhance with heartwood.
5. Cry when it breaks, or gives you a property other than the 5% HCI
6. Repeat until HCI 5% comes up as the imbued property.

Nope, thats wrong. When you craft with heartwood and a normal carpentry tool the armor part has 51 resist points + a random property (40 Luck, 5% HCI, 10% DI, 20% lower requirements, 50% Durability, 50% Lower Weight, Mage Armor)

So he got a piece with 51 Resists + 5 HCI here. Now he used PoF on it. Then he imbued the the LMC, HPI, MR and Mage Armor on it. This makes it 4 more mods on it and with the 5 HCI it makes 5 with less than 500% intensity.

While this is the optimal way to create the best pieces i think...the piece that is in the pic doesn't say it is Heartwood...am i missing something? Nevermind i see none of the material tags on the wood pieces.

Thank everyone, for your time to explain to me as I am really new to imbuing and making armor. I believe Basara make sense and sure it will be hard to get one I like.

Just bear with me two more question !!!

When doing basara method and then echancing with heartwood. Does Forged Metal of Artifacts ensure it does not break??? if not what does it do....

My next question is If I do it by this way and if it go over the cap???

1. Craft with Normal carpentry tool, heartwood. Try to get the random Exceptional/Lore resists where and hit Chance into it.
then
2. Powder to 255 durability
3. Imbue LMC, MR, mage armor, HPI in that order

I think if it does not go over the cap, this method should be cheaper..
Hope you guys can give me feedback and Thank again .

My idea was to make Hit chance on one part of the armor with lower mana cost, MR, hit point increase, then maybe stamina increase if I do not want mage armor. Just a tough, my mage use Focus skill so I can wear non mediation armor right??? a mage armor would not help much either right??? I am human by the way.

Hoping to make a suit that have this following
Defence chance 70
Hit Chance 45
Lower mana cost 40
Fast cast 2
Fast cast recovery 6
Hit point increase as much as possible
Mana regenation as much as possible
Enchance Potion 50
Stamina increase can help too

Template that will be using this is a Bushido Mage

Last but not least Thank again :lick:

if it's been dyed at all then the wood type tag goes bye bye and one of the imbue props drops it to but i don't remember which one i only noticed it once though

That is exactly how it is made. It is a lottery to use the powder and imbuing ingredients first. You are not guaranteed that mod every time. You can get damage increase sometimes too. Sometimes you get nothing or it breaks. It can be expensive but is sick!

Still wrong. 5 HCI has an intensity of 43%, so this armor part with additional Mage Armor, 2 MR, 8 LMC and 4 HPI has a total intensity of 481%. So it was made of heartwood with a normal carpenter tool, then PoF used on it and then imbued. It was never enhanced.

Question.

Since it is necessary to PoF before imbuing, and enhancing with the Forged Metal of Artifacts comes after imbuing, does this mean that in the process you had to burn all for nothing a TON of Powder of Fortification before getting the right piece you wanted ??

!00 Durability (10 charges of PoF) cost on average 150k so this means at least 300k per attempted piece for a 255/255 piece.......

actually no if your using the Forged Metal of Artifacts then you only need to make one item to enhance.

That is why I charge even good friends in the game a min of 10 mill for heartwood suits. I have charged sampires over 25 mill for all the extra work in trying to get the right random mods and resist using heartwood.

Not if you enhance with heartwood, cause it gives you a random property and you have to be lucky to get the right one.

Thank Drowy for your reply.. It help and I using your method since it is cheaper. I plan to get Forged Metal of Artifacts when I have more gold to burn hehe.. How much is Forged Metal of Artifacts selling in your shard????

You can't get HCI without enhancing with heartwood. So this guy saying he got the mage armor as an enhancement is just plain wrong.

He got the HCI from crafting the piece with heartwood. The mage armor he got from imbuing it onto the piece.
