How NOT to tame a Neon Purple Bunny!

Thought I'd give ya'll a good laugh at my expense.....

Okay what happened I had 4 mongbats on me so I cast chain lightening.
Just as I cast it, the neon bunny spawned!!!! Ack!! I got him too! Oh well back to playing Elmer Fudd ...KILL THE WABBIT(except the neon ones!!!)

I *finally* got my purple Jack Rabbit...took about 4 hours continuously whacking them in Zento, hehe.

I used a EV to clear an area...just as a neon bunny appeared...i couldn't dispel fast enough. lol

Hmmm.

I can´t set my foot in Zento without seing at least 3 purple bunnies hopping around. Is it a special purple colour U guys are looking for?

If so, which one and why? Heh.

I tamed one of those on my mage, but didn't have the stable slots for it, so rather than throw out one of my more useful mounts I just released it and blew it up with a fireball.
Animal cruelty lawl.

Just for looks. There is a thread complaining that even trained up they only do 1 point of melee damage, which is disappointing.

I am confused on the whole purple vs. pink thing. This little guy ran past the house when I logged in last night. He sure looks "purple" to me.

Here is the image blown up, with RGB value shown.

As I said, this looks purple to me. Dark purple in fact. Evidently, though, this is not the "rare purple" bunny described in the Valentine event notes, but it sure isn't "pink" by my standards, either. It is not the same shade of purple as the pic at the start of this thread, which the OP describes as "neon" purple but is more a bright pastel purple shade to me (splat bunny shown blown up, below with RGB value for comparison).

I think many of us have those "Lost my bunny to....." stories. I know I do. I had the same problem, just tamed it had gate open to go to stable and BAM greater mongbat targets my poor bunny before i could say all follow me, but alas was too late. the mean ol mongbat ate my neon bunny

Yeah, I *almost* lost my freshly tamed to a boggling. Tamed it in Haven (really good spot). I've never spammed "all follow me" as furiously in my UO life.
