How much true skill is needed..

Everyone seems to have 100 on their templates these days...

Can you not use jewels and midnight bracers anymore to give 50 necro?

what's the deal?

You don't need any "real" skill, just enough to go with whatever +skill items you have. A lot of us, and me in particular, don't like using +skill items because any change you make to your suit or character results in the need to rebuild the entire character, instead of being able to make a simple change.

I think the OP was asking if you need 100 Necro to cast VE and for it to stay cast.
You can no longer get to 100 Necro using items, cast VE, then remove items. You need to keep at 99+ Necro for the VE Form to stay active.
