How many players does UO have?

I was thinking of returning to the game and all my original characters are on the Lake Superior shard.

Does anyone know a place to see population statistics for official UO shards?
Can anyone tell me how populated the Lake Superior shard is?

I'd be interested to know this myself. The last information that gave us some kind of idea was the healing quest that was in game. They published results so you could see how many people entered. Obviously this only recorded numbers who undertook the quest and alot of people didn't.
I think Atlantic is the busiest shard, then maybe Asuka might be second.
