Corgul drops 6 pinks. With protection you will get 12.
The pirates spawn before you tackle him can drop too. I have walked out of there with 22 pinks once considering protection.
In Trammel, he will drop 6 pinks from 0.1 to 0.5 and protection won't work. Better farm him in Fel. And last I checked, he was dropping nice loot. I got a few usable legendary pieces from him.
