How Many Blues Does it Take to Heal the NPCs?

How many blues does it take to heal the NPCs?

I've heard 10-50

I think its 50! I have put 30 on and nothing...

Ive healed three of them so far first time it took 16 but figure that may have been cause someone else tried healing before the number 50 got started passing around the second time it took 44 and the last time 45.. so Id say having 50 to 60 Blue Crystal Essence would be a safe bet to have before going and healing one.

I've been told by several people that they've ranged anywhere from as low as 10 and as high as 76, which probably means at least up to 80.

Even if you have 50, on a populated shard, good luck with being able to use all of them. Three times I've put in 40+ and had mine stolen, and I just don't have the will to try again.

I could think of a few things. You friend:

1) Used crystals while we were fixing the duplicate NPCs/setup items bug so the NPC got reset
2) Used crystals right before server down and finished after server up before the previous patch (monster NPCs would also reset)
3) was griefed by a crystal eating ghost as he tried to heal the NPCs
4) Is mathematically challenged :/

Have done it four times so far. 46, 42, 47 & 48 blues. I was taking 60 with me each time so be safe, and did it on a stealther so no one would know I was trying ... unless they were hidden and tracking.

O.k. I got brave and threw my blues on a camped gypsies in the ICE dungeon. There were at least 3 other people in teh room "doing other things". It only took me 21 to get my robe but I really believe it's because the others were dropping on him too. At least I was the lucky one.


I agree with all the other posters that it should be a quest like Tomas where they keep track of your count.

Crystals can't plug in a lightbulb? Are you saying there are lightbulbs in this event? I haven't gotten any yet! That's really not fair, they should change this event so we all can get lightbulbs.
