[Magery] How is the Spelldamage calculated? ( sdi, slayer books, eval etc )

Hello :)

Im thinking about to add some more sdi to my armor ( actualy only about 20% ).

So the question is, is the spell damage increase only affecting the BASEdamage of the spell, or is it also affected by the eval int bonus and the slayer bonus?

maybe a spider slayer will make 60% sdi out of 20% , maybe 1xx with eval, or only raw 20% sdi from the base spell damage without any eval int/slayer bonuses?

thanks alot :)

No. Spell damage increase is calculated last (with the exception to slayer).

  • EI is calculated first @ ((EI * 3)/100)+1
  • Then int @ 1% SDI per 10 Int (Max 15 with 150 int)
  • Then inscription if you have it
  • Then any Spellweaving spells such as arcane empowerment and reaper form.
  • And finally any SDI you get from items is calculated last.
Oh, slayer books only effect spells that use EI is their damage calculation. So they do NOT apply to spells like mind blast, harm, spellweaving, necro, etc.
