How is it possible to die at the bank in Trammel?

Question:

How is it possible for you to die or be killed while bank sitting at West Brit Bank in Trammel?

I was bank sitting. TRAMMEL. West Brit Bank today. I was just chatting with other players, sitting there as usual, not engaged in anything.

I went upstairs to check on my sick kid, heat up a cup of apple cider and when I came back down, I was dead, a ghost sitting at the bank and my unbonded mount was gone. I was riding an unbonded giant beetle. It was gone when I came back also. I was mounted.

Any ideas from anyone one on how you can kill players at the busy west brit bank in trammel?

I'm very confused and frustrated.

I paged a GM to ask how it could have happened or how it would even be possible short of exploits.

GM Reply:

"It's not possible for GM's to see how you may have died. Sorry for any inconvenience".

A guildmate (or someone from alliance guild) could have killed you.. even in Tram.

I'm guild master of my own guild with no one else in it and I have no alliances.

I greatly appreciate that reply as a possibility.

I hope it is something simple in game I'm overlooking but I've been playing since 1998 and I can't think of any reason I should have died there with tons of other people around also. West Brit bank in Tram.

Could someone have pulled something from the Britt Grave yard down to the bank area?

This is probably exactly what happened. I was able to replicate it myself.

Somebody could have also released a pet next to you. NPCs won't call guards unless they have line of sight.

Yes, someone could have released a greater dragon or something to that effect. They can take you down pretty quickly if you're not paying attention.

This happened to me on Friday. There was a skeleton roaming near the bank. I killed it after it killed me, haha.

My money would definitely be on this being the cause. I loathe this 'event' for this very reason. The graveyard spawns are ridiculously OP and the guards ignore them.

on Atlantic... sometimes people lure them down from the cemetery. I do have to say that I have had them follow my ghost on Sonoma to the healers in town.
