Steven Alot has changed since you played, It takes some time to get use to the views but let me tell you the PVP is insane. You get 1v1 to 200 to 300 on 200 to 300 and its completly playable. The us servers are located in California. theres no speed hacking, there is always something to do you can play for an hour or 3 doesn't matter. It has player housing now with vendors, gambling. The ship battles are insane, take a look at this video

from what i heard the ruined the game in the last patch..i had 3-4 good friends who were COMPLETELY into the game..and now that they release that patch they all quit..

The expansion was buggy at the beginning, but the complant that people had was magic was under powered. Which they adjusted there is no domanite class iin DF which means it depends on your skill not what power scroll you can get. The only thing they need to fix is the pole arm speed and it would be the most balanced game out there.
