Just that, I have 98.odd bushido and it says it must be higher (not wearing +stat jewlery either). From what i've read it only has to be 90?

[Bushido] How high must your Bushido be for your lesser to bond?

90 to control, GM to bond. At least that's what I remember.
Connor is correct you need 90 to control and gm bushido to bond with a lesser hiryu
