How do you get a buddy referral with a new account?

So I have an SE new player code I want to use for my girlfriend to make an account. How do I do the buddy referral thing and is it still possible?

Yes, you can still get a buddy token. You need to have the new player go into the account management screen on UO's website https://account.ea.com/myacct/uo/uo-hub.jsp?skin=uo and I think in the Subscription Info tab there is an option to put in the email address of the person that referred you to UO and it will check to see if that email is in their system.

I opened a new account 2 weeks ago and referred myself and here is my reward status.

Your Referral Reward Status What's This?

Your Friend's Referral Reward Status:
17 days until XXXXXXX receives a reward from you.

Also you need to note that if you use a code that gives X number of days free, that any char created will be subject to the Trial Account restrictions until those days have passed, even if you put in payment information.

Many people have more than one email address, so contact your friend and ask him or her for the specific email address associated with his or her UO account. You can also suggest that your friend visit http://www.ultima-registration.com to update the email address stored in his or her account profile.

We need to identify your friend's UO account in order to enroll them in the 'Bring a Friend to Britannia' program.

I would suggest making a second email account and change your inactive accounts to that email address. Then try referring yourself again. Mind you, I think you have to do this within a week's time of opening the new account or it expires.

Due to the time thing, I dont have time to mess about so I used someone elses email - but this is ridiculous. I created, pay for and have different accounts registered with that email - and it just did not accept the email.
