How do Lighthouse (Vet Reward) work ?

Hello,

im thinking to place a house by water and place an lighthouse on it, to get a safe spot for my ships.

So my question is...is there an minimum reach/distance from lighthouse to ship or did i have just to link it ?

There is no distance requirements. The lighthouse will save your ship from decay regardless of where it is in the world. The ships will automatically link to the lighthouse, it is all passive.

A 5th year veteran reward, this deed allows you to place a lighthouse introduced with Publish 85 in your home. Your account must be 60 months or older to place it.

Use

• Recovers any ship except rowboats that are linked to the lighthouse
• All weapons will be saved
• House add-ons that currently allow you to dry dock your ship will be saved
• All other items will be destroyed
• The ship model can be found in the house moving crate
