How do I stop annoying my friends?

I can't party up with anyone without annoying them.

All options related to sharing health and position are unchecked, but there's no option to uncheck sharing position with a party. Their journals are being spammed to death.
I'm thinking of turning down all invitations to hunt with anyone

I must be doing something wrong somewhere, but what am I missing?

Yes I have heard other complaints about this! We need a way to turn this completely off so as not to create a problem between EC and CC users especially!
I know some dont seem to have a problem but others do!

for party there is the option "Share Health With Party" and "Party Ignore Sharing". Just disable both.

How do I get 'party ignore sharing' to stay disabled please?
I unchecked it, but everytime I log on it's checked again - and yes I always use 'log out' and not 'quit'
