How do I get my stuff back!!!!

Ok I recustomized my house with the new housing tiles. When I committed the design instead of all my stuff going into the moving crate its still in the exact same place that it was in my old house design. Now everything that was on my top floor (soul stones and potion kegs) and alot of stuff that was on the floor below it are just hanging in the air and I cant reach them. I can unlock them and lock them back I just can pull them down.

Call a GM or restore your original house design/redesign so the items are back on a floor level. Unlock and packup what was screwing you up.. redesign.

You can lower the items with teh int dec tool till you can reach them. You can also build walls over the spots where your items are, customize with the walls to shove them into the moving crate, then remove the walls. For items floating in the air this means you also have to build walls on top of walls to reach them.

Third, more risky option is to release everything you want, go into customize mode, and it will all pop under your house moving sign. Not a good option if you live in luna or in a high traffic area or have really nice stuff floating in the air, If we're talking potion kegs and deco junk thats probably the fastest way to go.

Thx for the help, changed my house back to the way it was before and was able to get all my stuff back I think. But I lost like 8 hours worth of time I spent customizing my new design. also when i reverted it back to my old design my teleporters disappeared and my doors are gone. I guess ill have to pack everything up in the bank and try it again some other day.

You can save the design you are working on as you work on it, you don't need to commit to have it saved.

Best way to get to stuff that you can't reach is by using a ladder. Just move it around collecting your floating things.
Of course if the item is on the next floor up where you can't place a ladder just go into customization and remove a wall section and pick up the item, then replace the wall again

If you can't reach it by removing a wall just go back into customization and put a stair leading up to it.
