Hey everyone, I can only seem to get rights few times, an d when I do. Its barely anything
I am a necro mage but i have 100 spellweaving in a stone, that i only use for peerless. Should I rip it out?
I am a necro mage.

And also, What affects your chances of a replica?
Is it how much spawn you kill? The amount of damage you do on the boss?

Thanks in advance

All drops from Tokuno Champ with 145luck necro mage: 198 total drops, 4 sets of dye now, 1 Mythical Detective Boots (Saturday), 1 swamp tile (Sunday), 1 Futon (Sunday) and NO Lucky Mempo yet.

That is my info from another post...Anyways; I'm working Weaving up in between champs, I'm currently at 91.3. I have yet to hit Serado with a WoD. I run out of his poison range, precast WoD, run in and fizzle every time. I occasionally get loot rights, however, the boots and futon, I did not get loot rights on Serado. I kill plenty of spawn while withering away, so I guess that is how I got into the RNG for a drop.

Okay, this is my memory from another thread on a similar topic and Five on Friday question.

The very basics on the replica drop, the top damager of any Champ AND spawn has the first roll for a replica. If the top damager does not get a replica, then all of the top 16 damagers get a roll for the replica.

Therefore, your best chance is to be the top damager of the spawn AND the Champ... both count towards the total. After that, you need to be in the top 16 to get a chance at it. Then it gets reset once the Champ is killed.

As far as adding 100 spellweaving, if you can get 4-6 level circle, it will help with Word of Death, but you are going to fail a lot, and may get nothing for it. A necro mage with max skill should do just fine as long as you are also killing off the spawn.

Stand with other mages so that you can share cures. Make sure protection is on. Then just cast evs, maybe throw in some ebolts. I get rights every time.

What i find very helpful now is get a bunch of animated dead. Especially the skeletal drags on the hiyrus, They help too

I thought you did not get credit for kills from the animated dead... did I misread that?

Replicas are gained by killing champions.

The mempo and other Tokuno minor artifacts are gained by killing anything in Tokuno (except cranes).

Champion spawns cause monsters to spawn very quickly. So, people kill the champion spawn in the hopes of getting Tokuno artis, and kill Seraldo himself in the hopes of getting a replica.

This is what we have been told; however, I for one have had a different experience. In one instance, in the past week, I showed up very late to the spawn when it was at level 4. I ended up killing a total of 5 spawn - 2 onis, 1 revenant lion, 1 kappa, and 1 lesser hiryu. I "helped" kill another 2 creatures - a hiryu and an oni. After this tremendous feat of monster killing I did not touch Serrado AT ALL but instead focussed on assisting other players with cures, heals, and rezzing. Again... I didn't touch the champ at all.

When Serrado was killed, I ended up with the Oak Leaf Shroud. I tried to loot his corpse but was not given looting rights. So... this makes me wonder if this is a bug OR if the whole champ system might not be as it has been described by the fine people of UO.

Just a thought...

Another poster stated that if the top damager did not get a replica, the other 16 would get a chance. You were probably in the top 16.

There are never 16 at that champ on LS.

For those of you that get drops on your first try. I am the one that keeps the averages going. I have done a bunch of the champs and get looting rights. I have yet to get any item while doing the spawn or champ. Its unlucky people like me who make YOU look lucky.

I have gotten some rings from his corpse that I can sell on a vendor.

OK... so here's what I found when I searched the previous posts regarding drops at the champ spawns:

Champ Spawn Pub 58 Fixes and Q&A - posted by Regine EAMythic on 02-12-2009

2. How do I receive a Replica?

Only players who worked a sufficient portion of the current spawn have a chance of receiving the Replica. You earn points for working the spawn. When the champ dies, a list of all the players having met the minimum point requirement is pulled. A roll is performed to determine whether or not a reward will be given. If yes, the player with the highest spawn points has a 10% chance of automatically receiving that reward. If the top player loses the roll, he’s put back in the list and a random player in that list is given the reward. You MUST be in the area when the champ dies to receive that reward.

The bug which allowed players who didn’t work the current spawn to receive the replica has been fixed and will be in Pub 58.

4. How are the leveling points obtained?

The spawn is divided into 4 levels, each giving a different amount of points for creatures killed. Level 1 and 4 give the least points as level 1 is extremely easy and level 4 is usually extremely short and would unfairly benefit late comers. Each time a creature is killed, every player who did sufficient damage to earn looting rights is given points according to the level of that creature. It is not based on kill shot. Once the champ is killed and the reward has been handed out, the points list is wiped clean.

The bug which causes spawn points to carry over from one spawn to the other, thus allowing players who didn’t work the current spawn to receive the reward has been fixed and will be in Pub 58.

I highlighted in bold the bit about "sufficient portion" of the spawn as I find it hard to believe that killing 5 or so creatures at the end of the entire spawn would put me in the list of top damagers eligible for a drop. I suppose it isn't impossible but doesn't really seem feasible that the system would be designed this way. Especially since I didn't even touch the boss. If this is how it is, then why even bother attacking the boss creature? I'm certainly not complaining about the drop I got but think that it might be an idea to consider tweaking this a bit more.

Since most systems in the game are based on a scaling system, it is suffice to say that as long as you do damage and there are less than x number of people you will automatically have worked a "sufficient portion" of the spawned. This of course is scaled based on the number of points everyone else had gotten.

This of course is not official, but I would say it is a safe assumption based on every other system the game uses.

I have gotten 5 pacify's 2 tiles and 3 futons from the spawn since the tokuno thing started.

I run a necro mage with huge sdi. I run around in wraith form just eqing everything someone else always kills it i just dmg it for loot rights. Almost always get at least 4 drops per spawn. Max i got was 8 minors and 3 pinks from one spawn, also got pacify at end.

For champ I always have 3 skele dragons up(undead from hiryu corpse), cast 2 evs on the champ, run off cast gift of renewal(im human so just use the 20 joat and a lvl 6 circle), and just spam ebolts.

The amount of loot on the corpse itself is based on how many people are around. On GL most of the time its like 500 gold and 2-4 items on him. When less people the amount on it goes up. So if ur concerned about getting more items its not the dmg its the amount of people hitting him.

Hope this helps.

My suit has 82 sdi and my lowest resist in wraith form is 67 fire. 120 eval mage spirit speak. Thought about going no resist and getting 115 sw but harder to get a lvl 6 and so far im doing fine on the replicas, but a high circle wod does a ton of dmg.
