Closed how do i disable "stratics pm"

i think its whats been causing extremely sluggish loading times, even when just trying to simply scroll down to read pages. plus the yellow box is intrusive and blocks things, just looks annoying and distracting.

i want to get rid of it and just be able to read stratics efficiently with no fluff.

feel like i need a "facebook purity" program now for stratics. its just too bloated and even crashing my browser.

How does it even work? I click the box to open it and it just sits there saying "loading".

I like the concept of the "Instant messaging" PM, and will keep it active either way, but there really should be a way to disable it for people who don't like it. Would it be possible to add some sort of checkbox to enable or disable it under a person's individual account settings?

i agree, i like the concept. i just think its making my stratics very slow. im just hoping disabling it would improve performance.
