How bad is the housing situation on LS?

I've downloaded the client (since I lost my CDs) and am going to re-up my susbscription here soon.

But I'd really like to know in advance, just how imposible is it going to be to get a house?

When I left, I gave away my 17x17 in Malas, and I don't expect I'll find something that large again..

What can I expect?

You'll have to search, but you should find some open spots if you look hard enough. You might have to settle for a small one at first if you place on your own, but searching will get you everything.. I helped a friend find a spot for and place a large tower two days ago in Malas, so the spaces are definitely there.

hmm Maybe I'll get lucky like I did last time.

But I don't know what time IDOCs collaps anymore.. I can't remember what time it was back then, and don't know if its changed...

There are spots to be found if you are willing to go out and look for them. A guild mate of mine just found a 17x18 spot while she was out and about yesterday.

I found 2 house spots one holds a 17x18 and the other a 16x18 so it is not to hard to find a lrg house spot on LS, like everyone says you gotta look and sometimes be patient.

Theres lots of places to plop down a larger house.ESPECIALLY if your not afraid of some good ole fashion Fel living. I placed 2 18x18`s in same screen in Fel and also placed an 18x17 just outside of Fel cove,same screen as southern wall.Tram I`ve placed a couple L-shapes,one large tower and some smaller places I let go around yew gate.

I gave away all the Tram houses to RL friends who play and I kept the 2 side by side in Fel since I`ma old school fan.

But rest assured,you will not find it hard to find housing if your willing to spend a little time see`ing the sites and doing a little exploration.

A friend recently moved from a 17x17 to an 18x17. Same secures, but better location and spawn. She spent a day looking at the spot and considering all the options before moving. There are some big spots that people overlook. One trick is to go to a shard like Atlantic and see where people have placed and see if the same spots are filled on the less populated LS.
