To save us downloading updates each time we switch between versions... how about having the updater cache the updates?

This way, once EA Land and TC3 has been downloaded once, there will be no need to download any updates again until a new version is released.

The updates are usually around 15 MB anyway. It just saves download allowance, since the ISP's in Australia are fairly stingy.

An option to "not cache updates" like Joely said, would be handy for those wanting to save hard drive space.
