Housing

HI all I am an old (v old) returning player just started fresh. Just wondering if there is any housing spots open or are they all gone like in the old days.
Trying to make an archer lots of diff opinions on how to build one. Lots of old info out there not sure what's best.
Any help on this stuff would be greatly appreciated.

Lots of nice spots all over. I just returned, myself, and settled on the east side of Yew in Trammel, and there are plenty of nice spots close to town, close to the gate, etc. But generally, I see good real estate all over the place. Huge swaths of empty land on Tokuno Islands and Malas, too, if you're looking for a bigger plot.

Welcome back.
After a long absence, I returned to UO a few months ago and was amazed at how much more space is open for housing these days. I'm only speaking about Chesapeake, of course. It was always my home in UO... and now it's my home again.

Definitely a lot of 18x18 spots open. You might even find a keep spot if you look hard enough.
