Housing Options on Chesapeake

Greetings!

I am considering a return to UO after a 6-year absence and I would like to return to my original shard of Chesapeake. Before returning though I wanted to ask about housing on Chesapeake and if space is still at a premium? Is there any room to drop a deed on any facet even Felucca?

Well we don't use deeds anymore hehe. I do miss stealing those deeds waaaay back in the day lol. Anywho Chesapeake has tons of houseing spots. If you want to live in Felucca in a player run city Dragons Watch has some nice areas open along with a few in PaxLair city. PaxOku city in Tokuno has a spot open but it does have ninjas around it... It also has some small plots available to get you started.

If you need help returning to UO DWxC has a guild full of returning and new players. Also OkuB Blue Guard is a guild in Tokuno that has returning vets and new players.

Our city is located on Homare-Jima Tokuno Islands
The rune library across the street also has runes for Dragons Watch City and PaxLair city. You can also find OkuB and DWxC members in New Haven city.

You will have to make sure of course that you have the most recent UO downloaded like 9th anniversary to open up all the expansion lands to date to see all of them of course.

Nowadays to place any size homes you need that house placement tool which can be bought from the NPC architects etc. The house placement tool will permit you to place all sorts of sizes of customised home plots *no walls* and then every tile of walling costs more gold to put up. Plot size prices vary from the smallest to well over 100k plus for the large size *plots* without the wall tiles etc. which cost more and also if one wishes roofing tiles. The house placement tool will also permit you to place the regular standard homes intact as well from log cabins to lg towers in their entirety for the prices shown in/on the house placement tool.

AOS lands added Umbra Luna and surrounding areas that go quite a ways out, the Samurai Empire added the Tokonos with the city of Zento and surrounding areas and other lands as well. . plus trammel and felucca.

Land is out there from smaller plots even on Moonglow trammel, to possibly room for 18 x 14 spots even by Minoc area north of it etc. Ya just have to GET IN be caught up and go land hunting land is out there it may not be always close in but, it is out there. Plus folks are constantly moving dropping plots or homes or selling off their existing homes as well in game.
