Housing on Test Center

Since there have been some unannounced rules changes lately, I thought that I had better check before I did something potentially foolish:

If you own a house on a regular shard, can you place one on test center without the house on the regular shard going into decay?

How long would the test center house last?

yes you can place on the test center, and it will not effect your main house on your account.

every time i have tried to place a house on test, it has not worked. :/

there is a lot of stuff i would like to have tested on tc, but it is such a pain to do proper testing without crafting and a house to do everything at. working out of your stuffed bank box is a PITA.
