Housing cannot be created in this area????

That's the message I got when I tried to place a classic style house in Zento. Yet I had no problems dropping a customizable plot???

Don't think you can put castles and keeps in Tokuno or Malas.

I was trying to drop a Tower. The Keep/Castle message is different I believe?

it may be that the house you are trying to place is too big for the "space" if it is over certain plants in the outer Zento area you will get this message, even if it looks like it "should" go, if i remember rightly there are a few areas like this in Zento

Well, it'll let me place an 18x18 but not a Tower, which has a smaller footprint..but why the misleading message? And of course I"m at a permanent 7th in the queue..

If i miss my guess here it is due to the wings of the tower. yes a tower has a smaller footprint 16 x 14 but you have the additional wings off the side that cannot extend into unbuildable zones. They are each 4 tiles off the footprint. does that answer your problem??

That would answer my problem, if the server message were "Something is blocking" etc...but instead it says "Housing cannot be created here". Which is what it says if I go into any Town besides Zento/Luna and try to place a house...regardless. I cancelled my help request which wasn't coming anyway, and then proceeded to replace the 18x18 plot...
