House placing rules

Ok i have been gone for a few months. I understand that a char on a new acct needs to be 15 days old to place a house, so that you cant make a trial acct just to place. However, what if you reopen a acct that all the chars are 7 or more years old? I reopened an acct last wed and it says that i recently received a house which i havent, i have the same house as always and i cant place for xxx amount of hours, or 7 days basically ?

Did you place/receive your house shortly before the account was closed? In this case the counter for your account may have stopped as well.
