House Placement ??

So I dropped a house because I wanted to place another somewhere else. I placed the other but then didn't like it and was under the impression that I could drop and place again, but apparently not. Has this always been the case ? You can drop and place one time, but then you have to wait 7 days ?

Used to be you could at will then changed to have to wait a week but sometimes it's buggy and you can place again or place on a different shard etc

It's really buggy from my experiences. I've had situations where I could place a house, then immediately place a house with the same account. The first house still condemned in that situation. On the other hand, I've had to where I've tried to resize a house after a transfer and the receiving account could not place during the resize, I received the 7 day warning.

In my experience the 7 day hold is triggered if you have a house on siege and production and try to replace one of them more than once in seven days.

I have both and it's buggy sometimes I can try multiple times others i have to wait a week

I don't have a siege house and had to wait 7 days every time. So I turn on an old account for a month when messing with house changing.

The ONLY exception to the 7 days wait timer, to my knowledge, is to use the "Resize house" option, which will demolish it for you and secure the area.

Yes, you can resize your plot every hour until the cows come home. When you resize, the area where the plot was, is secured for an hour, so someone else can’t place there. My experience has been that I can always resize immediately after placing if you don’t like something. After that you have to wait an hour. Remember, resizing drops the plot or house, so make sure it’s empty, or it will be one of those OS moments.
