If you change the name of a house owner will the owner's name on the house also change to the new name?

House Owner Name Change

The name on the house sign will stay the same. Even if you delete the character.
Actually, I recently renamed one of my characters (who is the owner of my house), and the sign has changed from her old name to the new one.
Cool, tyvm. I want to turn one of my houses into an RP house so want the house owner name to change.
