What happens if I send my house holder to another shard - does the name stay on house sign or does it arbitrarily change to the next character's name on same account?

House holder transfers to new shard-does name stay on house?

i can double confirm that.
the guy who owns one of my castles is also the guy i use to jump from shard to shard with my shard shield tokens almost monthly.
never had a problem.
its a account based thing so it really dosnt matter what name is on the house.
another example is when i transfer to another shard i can take that transferred guy and just walk right into my other houses because someone else from that account is co-owned, even though that fella is from a different shard its the same account so he is covered.

What if you change the name of the char that is the house owner, will the sign update to the new name?
In this case the name on a house sign of mine eventually updated, but it took years, and don't know if it was some special event (developer/patch/serverside) that caused it, cause i wasn't expecting that and don't think it normally should do that.
