Horrors of the Dark spawn done

don't know if anyone else has noticed but that Horrors of the Dark Demon Span for the demon heads and belts is gone.
looks like they packed it up yesterday.

was a fun spawn.

The new changes made it so you can get the items pretty fast.

I did it for a week and got 68 belts and hundreds of masks. Only 1 rare mask tho.

It ended on the 16th exactly one month.

I never did get the other 3 archfiend heads

This new drop system worked great. It rewarded teamwork and the shard's community to work the spawn end-to-end, over-and-over again. And the reward was not game altering, yet a solid alternative to the Crimson Cincture for non-dexxer characters. I can't wait for the next spawn using this system.

If they had a specified end date, I missed it totally, and it seems like most other people did too.

Or even one dexxer character I have, who almost always still has >180 after being cursed, but who suffered from a lack of hp. Great item that a friend gave me half a dozen of while I was away.

Finally a dev had a good idea. I'd encourage them by saying to keep it up, but odds are this was a fluke, and they're thinking they'd better make any item really hard to get and one-per-account.
