sorry to hear that - i am sure you have reasons.
i had a siamese cat before i got married and she was a scaredy cat. she hid under the bed when anyone was in room. she mostly came out at night to sleep ontop on me.
when she was old we got a tiger cat from the pound.
i loved my siamese but after she died i grew to love this new cat.
the new cat "tiger" is on her 4th life. she got hit by 2 cars, fell off 23 foot ledge onto tile once and onto the dog the 2nd time (was funny that one was), came in from woods half dead.
i love tiger now.
