Honor Virtue damage bonus

Hi,

Just got back to UO after a few years, does the Honor Virtue work? I have tried it out in Dastard for a few days (I have killed enough to get to Glorious Lord twice) and have not reached the first level in the virtue gump.

Is it broken? or do I just need to kill more?

you must actively honor each target before you kill it, honor doesn't raise passively. Get the honor target up from the virtue gump in your paperdoll (you can easily set a macro for this) and then target what you want to kill. You must kill tougher monsters as your honor goes up. Also, Your target must be in full health when you honor it.

I've killed hundreds (literally) of ogre lords, honouring each one and I'm half way through the 2nd path of honour. It is sloooooooooow!

It is based on fame, I think to reach Knight of Honour you'd need to be honouring and killing paragon Balrons etc.

The honor bonus(passive) has been removed for a while now, near a year. The honor for consecutive hits is 10% per hit in a row up to 10 consecutive hits for a total damage bonus of 100% this will stack on top of all other Di bonus including EoO, slayers, and straight Di from items.

The Honor virute is a etheral voyage(spellweaving) or a area peacemaking kind of effect, which deducts an amount of honor ??2 ticks?? or so each use. Thats when you target your self.
