Honesty

Who gains honesty?
I mean, char A find an object, but he doesn't have forensic. He gives the object to char B, that has forensic. Char B use forensic on the object and then give back to char A the item. So char A can bring the object to the right place. Does he gain honesty?
Or only char A can gain honesty?

From my understanding its whoever turns item in no matter who uses forensics on it

Yes Storm, that is correct.

Since my archer has no room on her template for Forensics, I started a new character to train it on.

I find an item, give it to him to ID and I give it back to my Archer who then turns it in.

Please I have post for forensic eval. How to train it.
Someone has sayed that at 41 skill i can train the skill with a paragon chest.

Now what have i do to raise the skill?
I use the skill on a paragon chest but it doesn't work.

Ivory, Yes once you are at the magical 41 points you can gain off of unlocked paragon chests. I only used 5 chests and have reached GM. Oh the chests need to be unlocked by someone. I dont know if the level of the chest matters or not as all of mine were from Miasa

Level of the chest does not matter, as long as it's a chest that has been picked by someone.

If you're not gaining try to get to 41.1, don't ask me why :/

Just a silly question.. If you use Forensics skill, do you target the chest?


At first when i did this i was not gaining anything, my target was set on current! (EC client)


In EC client i made a small macro. Forensics skill, Target stored on chest. Delay 1.5 , Repeat 10 times.

As much as I seem to go through boats and at my pace of killing vendors, any discount helps.

I dont no very much how honesty will work, But I do have A few questions?
Honesty only reduces the price on NPC's right, But if you buy them out does the price increase? If so guess that wont last long the prices will just double what they are right now for people without honesty and for those with honesty will just put it back were it now, So to speak, Arrow goes from 7 gold to 30 gold, No one will buy it for that, Just seems pointless unless the vendors reset.
