I've been playing on and off since 97. My first shard was Atlantic, but I quickly moved to Chesapeake due to the instability of Atlantic and played on there happily until about 2001.
I played many different MMO's since then, but my priorities, interests, and free time have changed as I've gotten older and I want to end my gaming career where it started - in UO.
I have been on and off every few years since then and made the move from Chessy to Atlantic a few years ago since Chessy seemed virtually dead. UO has some sort of chemical hold on my brain and it's hard to let go
I was excited to play on Atl when I came back - there were people everywhere, barely room for a house, and there was constant chatter in general chat.
I've grown tired of the hustle and bustle on Atlantic and yearn for a quieter life. So I'm moving home to Chessy and wanted to re-introduce myself to the community that still remains on Chessy. I'm usually a pretty self sufficient hermit, but I've been to a few vesper auctions and hope to get out and do a few more social things with that little free time I do have.
