so there have been 2 houses around my fel castle for as long as time was recorded.
one was a small marble tower and the other was a large tower.
both had the old house signs that didnt have the privacy settings on them.
i just noticed today that BOTH dropped over the last little bit.

something changed in the code and both dropped.
interesting.

neither of these houses have had a visitor in the 8 years that ive lived here.

anyone else notice old houses dropping?

i overheard a conversation at the end of an EM event where one of the players said the devs were dropping 'ownerless' houses. you know, the ones whose house sign only had two lines: the name of the house and whether it was public or private. when i heard this i got excited because there was an ownerless large tower on sonoma that was loaded. i recalled to the tower with the quickness and my heart sunk because sure enough, the house and contents were gone. i'd bet money that everything decayed and no one saved any of the historical pixels contained within.

the player mentioned these houses are not going through normal decay stages. the homes were reported as anomalies to mesanna and after the devs do their research, the house gets manually dropped -- in the same manner as the house owner chosing to demolish their home.

maybe that's what happened to the 2 houses near your castle?

No idea, but something has changed... One of the smalls I use for temp storage by my illusion house project has recently become improperly placed.
