Just imagine all the PvM that will be going on when SA is released, everyone out trying to gather items to unravel! Victims everywhere! With tons of loot!!!

Tamers will not be safe, when their dragons fall asleep ( I really hope they dont nerf that spell ), they better have another way to defend themselves!

I set up SA last night, macros working nicely, but it seems when I actually attack someone, it starts to get choppy, otherwise it is fine... any ideas to fix this?

I wonder how much of the resurgence in activity has to do with ToTs being on and the upcoming SA expansion.

Giving people a reason to go out and not only hunt monsters, but PvP again seems to be what this shard needs the most.

I would caution you to reconsider how you're taking this for granted. There is something very huge here that needs to be noted and focused upon. How many efforts have people put forth in the name of boosting our population?

Looking at this critically, figuring out what it is that caused it and then as a community unified... pushing for more is what I'd suggest.

This is summer time folks. We have years and years of experience with Sieges population going DOWN in the summer months, but this is an opposite trend? I know... thank the lucky stars, but be sure you recognize why... it's important. Very, very, very important.

It may be that "an event" drug people out from the trenches... but what's needed to keep them here?

I sincerely believe that the ToT event is prelude to what I've been saying this shard needs for more than 2 years now. If you give PvMers reason to go out and PvM, you give PKs reason to go out and PK, you give crafters reason to continue to craft supplies for both and don't forget the thieves and notos these activities attract.

Our PvMers have been bored to tears for years. There's really nothing worth doing and keeping the only things "worth" doing as "events" that come around at random periods every so often... is not the solution to this problem.

Don't get me wrong i'm not implying skills, most those guys are non pvpers but seriously for like 3 hours straight all I did was kill people, it was amazing.

Me and Dt were just laughing and laughing. Then I killed two new guys outside my house, 2v1, who does that?

Props to the blue guy for defending his friend. Don't worry I didnt loot them, in fact I gave them some gear and told them to come check out stratics since they had no idea about ROT or anything.

I think the PvM will be a full time thing now, even after the release of SA and for years to come, as everyone will want items to unravel. There is finally a reason to go out there and kill monsters.

I'm just returning as well (Under the name Kuzara) and I didn't know about the no guard zone thing. Hehe. No wonder the guards wouldn't kill a pesky mongbat for an NPC the other day.

The eight faction controlled towns no longer have guards.

Since the invasion, they left their posts and haven't returned.

Minoc
Yew
Trinsic

All of these towns do not have guards. Travel there at your own risk! *evil grin*

The moongates for these towns are still guarded, as I was reminded yesterday while trying the targeting system on SA client.

YES! That's right. But there are people who love to PvM and there are people who love to HUNT the PvMers and there are people who love to hunt those people and there are people who love to supply us all and watch us kill each other.

I've been saying for 2 years now, that PvMing sucks.

Yes, i actually logged in to Pvp for the first time in forever....the wife convinced me to....and met Tiberius in Vent, which was cool, and it seemed like the shard has picked up....but wow, there are more tammers then ever before....but it may just be my eyes playing tricks on me......

And Ive had the chance to try out the SA client, eh I guess I was expecting more with all the time they have put into it.... It kind of reminds me of diablo more than ultima online...It doesnt really seem like anything too-too spectaular but Ill give it some more time to make a final decision...

And a quick question reguarding SA/UOA, are players going to be able to use UOA with SA eventually?


Ps - I do read stratics frequently and have noticed alot of players coming here and giving siege a try. Hopefully they stick around, who knows maybe one day siege will be able to get back to its former glory...

60 point fireballs x 3 and three dismount capable templates are not odds I'd care to fool with on the open field. You also had some straight pvp types such as yourself out there that pretty much matched our 4-5.
