So I hit make 20 copper ringmail arms, see them in the open bag and when I hit bod to gather from bag it only fills to 11 and says something to the effect of I made more than were needed. Thinking I was wrong I got 2 20 piece copper ring gloves and hit make 40, well tongs wore out and only made 37, went to fill one bod anyway and again fills it up to 11, thankfully I have horde of ingots but common.

Yeah, if you couldn't see your feet due to house add-ons (like your forge and anvil), you probably weren't noticing all those heavy ringmail pieces hitting the ground. Hopefully they're still there, since you only posted less than an hour ago.
Your bag in your pack can only hold 400 stone, despite your pack itslef can hold 550, and if you go over the 400 while crafting, the stuff hits the floor as you make it.
