Somewhere in your user's home folder, under your account's data, there's a file called uo.cfg, open it in your text editor of choice.

Unfortunately though only people who have made this change see it properly, everyone else sees the bugged leafless holiday trees still.
I really wish after all these years they'd just make it a checkbox in the menu, i mean, the game already HAS the setting, there's just no way to set it from in game.

At this point in UO's history, is there really a good reason to keep Felucca looking dead? The devs had a good reason early on - lots of new players coming into the game.
Especially since since the functionality is there to make it a simple toggle.
I did the desolation one, but not the tree canopy one. Thanks.
Sadly if everyone else see them as dead trees, then pass.
And I really agree, there is no reason to have this effect in fel any more. I had a nice design in tokuno that was a a like park with trees and plants all over, much of which I wanted to incorporate in my new fel home, but now I can't use the trees I have collected for it. It's just obnoxious.
ESPECIALLY on siege where there is no tram, we have to deal with the blood, graves and dead trees in our only version of britania.
The *classic* holiday tree will always look naked in fel spots on Siege, yeh unless or if ya figure out the desolation thingies to do.
I have found though at times the *modern* holiday tree, will show the lights and so forth *in season*, but yeh it's not the full big pine tree, looks more like a cypress tree but full of green, in *modern* style.
Yeh back when they created trammel, there was a story line for fel trees going desolate. OK since then, even the horrors that polluted all of YEW with swamps much later all was cured by the elfy expansion.
There is really NO REASON to keep felucca looking so .. UGLY !
The original lands were trees full of leaves, flowers and no skulls bones blood all over the landscape.
Then came trammel mirroring and so the side that got called 'felucca' got the uglies perma like never returning the original landscape back to NORMAL. OK for the time during even shortly after the storylines, that created trammel, but heck that been YEARS AGO.
Give us a break, no toggle this or that in our files, just put the foilage back to 1999 98 and back ON and back to normal !
If someone really WANTS desolation then let them toggle it off in felucca, for the perma uglies.
Afterall this time, the *ORIGINAL* landscape shoulda been healed cured whatevers even way before the elfy expansion, came healing the mess of YEW !
OVER DUE for foilage to return to it origins, in the OLD world !!! LEAFY !
