Holiday Gift Tickets On TC1 (Warning: Spoiler of sorts!)

You get a green holiday gift ticket if you log in to TC1.

The list of items to choose from includes a snow statue, nutcracker, icicles, a pot of eggnog, and a deed for a holiday tree. Don't have time to claim anything. Was just popping on to test something and saw the message about having a ticket.

Me too. There are two sizes that's the smaller one. When you lock it down you can double click on it and it will move. I was hoping nuts would pop up in my backpack but they didn't lol.

Very nice container, I chose a pegasus and only got half of it. Little creepy...


The part I got, {front}, was very pretty.

anything special you had to do when locking it down? - i locked mine down and it didn't do anything - told me i couldn't access it (I chose the large one btw)

No just locked it down and double clicked it. I don't have a big one to test out. I would think if the little ones move the big ones should too.

The one char I have on TC got the ticket but when I click on it to select an item a message appear that I had been given it but there was nothing in my bag. It had vanished, moving everything in my pack and logging out did not fix it, what ever was given to me vanished.

I only have 3 characters on TC1 that existed before the patch, so I couldn't try out everything. I threw together a few screen shots though. Wish I could try out the statue that looks like just the top of a pegasus. The boxes are pretty nifty too...new shapes and colors and the lining inside is also hued.

The nutcracker is the large size. I thought maybe you could redeed it and switch sizes, but it seems to stay in that form once you click on the deed, unless I just didn't try the right thing to put it back in deed form. In the large version, it moves its jaw up and down when you click on it.

Did you check in your bankbox? Perhaps your pack was too full.

I did that to, was standing at the New Haven bank, off on the south side rear corner, when I opened my ticket

I've been getting "you are too young to receive a ticket" for about 2 weeks now on characters older than 30 days on Origin and Chessy. Go figure.

Why is there only half of the Pegasus? It is so pretty! How can I have a stable with half of it? I just want to know why this was done is all. It is like that dog food commercial...

Most pegasus ice/snow sculptures I've seen don't do the lower half, because with it rearing like that, the material doesn't have the strength for the large sculptures - it would snap off at the rear ankles from the unbalanced weight.

Usually, the sculpture is surrounded by pure white snow, puffy cloth or cotton batting, ot look as you're seeing the top half rising through a cloud layer...
