What are your favorite and least favorite holiday gifts?
Can be any holiday.
My faves are (in no particular order)
Whispering Roses
Snow Globes we had to trade to get full sets for
The blinky holiday lights

My least fave:
Any kind of cake.

I loved the globes because there was a wide variety of different globes. As for the bells, they had several different colors and sounds . They were (are still are) fun to play to with. :)
Both the globes and bells also had rares.

Snow was just plain fun :p

Least favorite:
Cakes.

No variety. Only difference being colors and the text (which only varies by what the cake is suppose to commemorate). As far as I am aware, there really isn't any type of rare cake. Worst of all, I don't remember them being edible.

Especially the IOU Cake? lol

I liked the plants... Decorative potted trees and the poinsettia/cactus.

This is like asking a parent who is your favorite child! impossible to answer but I do have things i'd love to see repeated.
The first year "potted plant deeds" and with the new magic the dev have I can see a new set of them of different kinds.
Bells of new pretty sounds...
Oh too much to list and way too little time

Now as for my most disliked .....

Wow... Favorites...

I love my Snow Globes... Anything to do with the Virtues...

I like stuff with my characters names on them. Roses still one of my favorites. Oh but most of all.... I love my AoS boots!

I like the clothes things I can show off and wear... things that are useful like the Mailbox, the Pink SoT book is awesome!... Stuff that STACKS! Stuff I can leave in deed form until I "need" it then it can cause clutter...


I HATE stuff that don't stack or that you "HAVE" to get by a certain date or miss out... anything that is "use by" ..... or I find it EXTREMELY annoying to have to go and click something..... to get my "gift"... That's not really a gift that's W.O.R.K. ...... with over 600 characters it's a PITA.


I love to collect stuff and I absolutely love when there is a "special" rare color or item...... like the angel boxes.... or the gold Harpsichord... Makes collecting more fun and makes trading more fun.

Not really a holiday item but all the crazy colored aos sandals...especially the ones you can dye.

Obviously my favorites were the trees and snowmen..I lost a rare snow globe in my big tree because I forgot to lock it down :( You can see the empty spot on the tree where it should be! DOH! LOVE the gift boxes! I liked the reindeer and sleighs too, they are just TOO adorable! I wasn't around for the bells but I do have a few. Recent ones? The Santa statue is AWESOME! And I love the poinsettias A LOT! I don't think I have a least favorite... I just love everything :/

Ohhh nice there. See, I don't have that ability I don't think. Only editing software I have is paint, so I generally just take the fast and easy way out ;)

Funny thing is, I used MS Paint to do that...took FOREVER! lol.

As far as my FAVORITE Holiday...and I wish I'd added more to this screenshot...Halloween...LOVE Halloween and everything we've ever gotten from Halloween has been AMAZING! I think this pumpkin scare crow thingy is my favorite though.

Old snow Globes love the glow of them at night

I love my globe collection. If they came up with new globes (maybe famous uo characters) it would give me a goal. Make King Lord British the rare one. (are they allowed to use his name in that way? Who knows lol)

I love trading with people for ones they need when I have extras or fighting to find that one rare one. Just make them small! LOL It is hard to display your whole collection of harpsichords!

I can't decide I love it all I love it all so much I make sure to make sure I have room for it all by trashing UO hubs junk(everything he like is junk everything I like is treasure). What Happen to by sturdy shovels n pick axes ? OH !!!! those accidently fell into the trash barrel while I was running by it. Seriously 40 of each like he needs that many.

1) Holiday Bells - I have a perfect set of all names, colours and sounds in the fewest amount of bells possible - took forever to collect, working with other traders as we met at the bank and played the bells to see if it was a sound we needed. Then taking screenshots and zooming in to examine the pixels to see if it was a unique colour...a collector's dream! Nothing has come close since :(

2) Snow Globes - not a huge fan of the graphic (could have been so much more), but nice and easy to collect

3) Statues - I have a love/hate for this collection as it's the only collection I never even completed because of the extreme rarity of some of the names.

I'm still waiting for them to put in the one globe we have never been granted. Despise. Why we have never had a globe for Despise I'll never know. Every other dungeon and virtue and most all the towns are represented but we've never had a Despise globe. Now they could give us one and a really awesome black one for the Abyss .... wouldn't that be neat. And another cool one for the Underworld... maybe one for the Emporium.... but I seriously want Despise to finish out my virtue collection. That would make me very happy.
