Hmm new bug or intentional?

Just wondering around differant areas of trammel that I had not visited in awhile and enjoying the snow. Well three times now I heard the sound as if I went through a moongate and entered Feluccia. Thing is I did end up in the same spot I was just in Trammel but now I was in Feluccia. Kinda funny actually, I was wondering if this was something to do with killing the invaders in Moonglow, which I just started to kill recently. Only thing I can think of at the moment.

hhmm did not log out in fellucia though. Just happened a fourth time so went to same spot again to see the house names near by and the houses were on the trammel side and also on the fellucia side. Which makes me believe that I was still in trammel but with the Fellucia background. Pehaps its just a matter of logging out of UO and loading it back up. Was kinda interesting and woke me up.

Well it's an old bug anyway. You hear the sound and the trees may switch to desolation but you are still in Trammel.
Trust the glove cursor, it shows which facet you are on.

I've never in 4yrs logged in Fel, but have, occasionally, even on chars that have never been to Fel, experienced this bug. It's a bit 'oooer' cos I do like to know where I am!

It's an old bug... infact it happens to me anytime I visit Fel.

Also... it happens when you go to Tokuno and then back to Britain... but it's more "subtle"... You may notice grasses change but not the trees.

Few notice that one... but I do.

You're talking about the sound it makes and the trees swapping correct? If so that's happened since AOS at least, you're still in tram, it just swapped to "desolation" tileset and played the sound. I always thought it was intentional, and supposed to signify the "link" between the worlds or something. (like getting a glimpse into the future desolation as minax moves into tram)

It could just be a ridiculously old bug though, wouldn't surprise me.

I've had that too just lately, went wtf - had to look around just to make sure I wasn't in Fel.

Well it was kinda wierd, running around trammel then got the sound of being in the moongate to fellucia and the landscape was fellucia. I said umm do they have some hidden moon gates for xmas or something, was kinda funny. Thing is this is the first time it happened to me that I can remember ( I don't count the times I might have been intoxicated at the time), and its not like I just started to play this game or anything.
Would be an inreresting prank to play on the players say like during halloween. But makes sence that its a bug was just wondering.
