Hit Spell Damage

Does anyone have any reliable information on the damage caused by hit spell weapons (fireball, lightning, etc)? I understand that it is not affected by EI?

The spells are cast as if you have 80 EI, regardless of what your actual EI is.

does SDI effect the hit spell effect on your weapon?

Any idea what sort of range of damage hit lightning does against someone with full energy resist?
