There was a previous thread that touched on this, but there was not a definitive answer, so here goes another attempt:
In PvM, if i have 120 swords and 45% HCI, and am going up against a creature with 100 wrestle, i have a 84.6% chance to hit according to stratics 'to hit' calculator.
Now, the question is, if i am wearing the mace n shield glasses, and my HLD property goes off (lasts 8 seconds and reduces defenders DCI by 25)....
Does the creatures DCI stay at 0, or does it go to -.25?
'If' it stays at zero, the mace n shield glasses would be useless for PvM because creatures do not have DCI. However, if it can truly go negative, then according to the 'to hit' calculation, when the HLD goes off, i would have a 112.8% chance to hit (so would hit 100% of time for 8 seconds).
Does anyone know if a creatures DCI can go negative when HLD mod goes off?
