I've now had it confirmed from both a player who was at the events, and another very separate player who was also at the Japanese hina-doll events and had screenshots.
The 2014 hina-doll fireplace was a boss drop from something that sounds like it was a super-Doom run. I'm still not clear if it was a 20-drop (per shard) or an everyone drop on each shard, but unlike the 2013 hina-doll beds, these were definitely not from a clicky, and were boss drops, from each of:
March 1, 2014 (Sat)
8:00 pm: Mizuho
8:45 pm: Hokuto
9:30 pm: Sakura
10:15 pm -: Asuka
March 2, 2014 (Sun)
8:00 pm: Wakoku
8:45 pm: Yamato
9:30 pm: Mugen
10:15 pm: Izumo
So excluding Mugen's un-xshardable drops, that means there's minimally 140 (7 * 20) of these around, but not *.
By the way, unrelated, but for those of you who collect alchol-related items (@Angel Dust) , you should check out the item from Sakura's 2/28 event.
