Seriously though, thats nuts lol. I have done 549? I think, although, thats with little SDI. How much SDI do you have? Level 6 Focus I assume, Arcane Empowerment? Reaper Form? Inscription? Details please .

I could probably get to 1000 dmg if I added the new 5 SDI tunic, 2 SDI gloves (armor set ones) and Reaper Form. Was pretty crazy!!

There's no cap on SDI in PvM so i'm not sure what you mean.

spell buffs(spellweaving):
arcane empowerment(120 skill w/ lvl 6 focus)-40 sdi
reaper form(120 skill w/ lvl 6 focus)-16 sdi

total=176 sdi

WOD base damage(at 120 skill)=300

WOD damage after applying sdi=828

add evil omen damage bonus(+25% of total)

final damage(with evil omen)=1035

i believe this is currently the max possible damage with WOD(if my calculations are correct and i didn't miss anything)

edit: forgot gloves, also just checked GM inscription does not give any sdi bonus to WOD.

so max sdi would be 168(with gloves minus inscription) and max damage would be 1005

not aware of any cap, though the info on that page is out of date as WOD does direct damage not chaos(think it was originally intended to do chaos,but never has)

The highest Word of Death amount I've ever heard of was this against the Dark Father:

It isn't my picture, so I have no idea if the damage can actually be accomplished or if someone pulled the wool over my eyes, since my math can't make that damage happen no matter how I manipulate the numbers.

The best I ever managed was 750-ish.

looks to say 1071, that was probally taken not long after ML came out. when ML first came out the damages were very high, heard of people doing 1400 or more per WOD.i know i was doing over 700 at the time with 12 sdi, though its been nerfed twice since then.

if you look closely there's damage text everywhere on that screen, even some under the "1071"
It's probably the result of an odd overlapping of the damage numbers. It happens some times.

Because venom has 10 SDI and I am not aware of any bracelet out there, non imbued, carrying 12 SDI........

Can be imbued, can also be looted off of any monster in the game...

Just like a 1/3 FC/FCR Bracelet, Imbued or looted...

Or maybe 15phys/15fire/15cold resists bracelet...

Sure, but it is only that in the time I played I never got a 12 SDI jewellery piece drop .

I wonder what the odds are to get one.....

ive probally looted 30-40 braces with 12 sdi(the other mods not so good), though in post it would most likely be imbued

This is a bit old but when I finished my arch/mage, he was doing 700-1000 on the Dark Father, and I was getting an artifact every trip to doom. Close to the same damage with Lady mel also. Fully blown sdi 100+ i believe, focus made a difference of 100 - 300 more. Havent played that character since the expansion. Due to connection issues. Might have to dust him off

I am consistently getting 850+ damage with my 'damage' mage when casting WoD.

I frequently do 900+ without evil omen. 105 SDI with arcane empowerment. Haven't tried reaper form yet... Although I'm about to drop spellweaving for mysticism.
