Hello Sosarian fellows !
Its been some days that i have in mind to host sort of "large" High Seas event, NOT monsters one, but something different wich could be really fun . For that, all those lovely Governors can be a great part on this event. Let me please try to explain what i have in mind :
( EVERY town name is taken as an example )
New Magincia will transfer some gold and precious to a better safe location, ley's say Jehlom, and this using High Seas ships. I wrote ships because the "Admiral ship", the one who has goodies AND THE TOWN GOVERNOR aboard should have also ships for its securety.
But but....will this be so simple ? Of course NO !! Har! Har!
By some spy work one ( or more ? ) town KNOW that the New Magincia Governor is sailing heading to Jehlom so...why to not try to assasinate the Governor, sink his ship and steal money and such ?
Yes, basically i'm talking about two seperated teams...a good one ( Governor , guards etc ) and the Evil, Pirate, one.
Ofcourse an event like this must be done in Felucca...and there's some hints that i've elaborated :
First of all, I, Morgana of Moonglow, i will buy those required ships ( they must be all the same, same cannons etc etc ) this because if a ship get sink...it's lost, sort of, so for that i don't wanna see peoples who lost theyr own ship. Also i'll try to provide on cannons and ammunitions too.
A ship is considered OK when it's crew is full and this shoul be : one Captain and one fighters for each cannon ( So a 7 cannon ships must have a 8 players crew )
If a Governor will take part of the fun She/He will be the 9th passenger.
There will be prizes for those who win. Ofcourse if the Magincia crew do the job (safety put money and goodies on Jehlom ) get a reward BUT if the Magincia crew get killed by one of those Pirate crew...the prize will be double !
I'm working for something like : "good" ship team killed : 5 points. Add 5 more points if the crew has a Governor aboard ( and killed too..)
"Evil" pirate crew : 3 points but add 5 if a Governors take part on the dark side !
Once a team get killed NO REZKILL is allowed. The killed Crew just loose, that's all. No need to rezkill or play dirty..
I will need two "top fair" players as Judges but i have those highly trusted persons already, so not a problem.
EVERY combat IS allowed just in a fair mode. So Trowers, Melee, Ranged etc, everything is OK. You can also use conflagrating pots, explosion pots and so on. Hey, it's WAR afterall.
Pets ? Sure, you can also use your companions ! ( So Tamers are OK )
Just PLAY FAIR !
I'm sure, it could be LOTS of fun to try to track, follow those ships ...and fought them for the Glory !
Crews, starting and ending towns etc etc must be planned. But i'm looking for a first answer and see if it's worth to try to sort an event like this
Oh yes, and even if Governors get the chance to co-operate in future...we should remember what happened on Sea !
Please let me know what you'll think..it can be the first event like that on Uo history...so why not us, Europa, be the first ?
