15-30 mil. Some people really like mana inc, others think it's kinda pointless. Regardless, it's still a mod, but with all the val hammer armor out there, arms like these aren't particularly hard to find.
Val hammer armour will have, at the most, four mods if it is medable. This one has five, although the cold resist mod is less popular or useful than phys or poison would be, and it isn't near max. Nonetheless, I would expect val hammer armour like this would be pretty freakin' rare.
Having said that, I'm not disputing your assessment, I expect you are right, but they are worth more than that to me.

Valorite runic armor is 5 mods + mage armor free (exceptionally crafted). The samurai-style plate has this feature, that's why everyone is crafting mempo's, do's, hiro sode's, etc.
The above price check is rather generous, in fact. I see stuff like this for 10-20m all the time.

sold peice just like this today for 3mil top ... can get mods quite easily
Having never used a valorite hammer, I had no idea that mage armour was a free property with them. That changes the picture, but having kept a sharp eye on Luna in Catskills, and having burnt through many many kits, both here and on TC, I know that this piece is not common, whatever someone here may post...
But I do think I'll go to TC and do some fooling around with val hammers and armour now...
Comments like that make me do a slow burn. Anyone who was able to get enough val hammers to get those mods "quite easily" should have been banned in the last action...

im sorry? i paid for my hammers with perfectly legal UO gold that I earned...sorry you can't afford them and burn them but you def shouldnt put someone down for that ...i was just telling you those mods are easy to get ...no need to be an a-hole about it
If you managed to buy more than one or two valorite runic hammers in the course of a year, which by your comments seems to be the case, you were either buying duped hammers, or hammers that were the product of duped bods, and you are clearly enough of a veteran to know this is true, regardless of how you earned your gold. More than one person apparently had their account banned for far less than that in this last sweep.
And I have spent hours on TC, literally, with runic tools, including val hammers, barbed kits and heartwood saws, making weapons and armour. I have a pretty good idea what is common, and what is not. I know that that piece I posted here is extremely hard to get, even with unlimited charges at your disposal.
Having said that, I know that piece would be more valuable if the cold resist mod was in phys or poison.
Just for kicks and giggles I did a search on that-site-which-shall-forever-remain-nameless, on Atlantic, and in ten pages of armour I didn't find anything that really matched, and only a few that were even close, and based on the prices I saw, if you only got 3 mil for a piece "just like this", you didn't do very well. My guess is the piece you sold isn't as close to what I posted here as your statement makes it appear to be.
The problem with pricing armour is the same problem as there is with pricing any of the non artifact items. It is pretty hard to ever find any two that are alike, so what you get for a piece will depend on whether it is what someone wants, and what they are willing to pay. Artifact prices tend to be pretty set within a certain range at any given time.
The same is true for pets. I was asking 20 mil for a truly exceptional, fully trained beetle, and I had several people basically tell me I was nuts for asking that price, but I knew, based on a lot of experience, exactly how difficult it was to find what I was selling, and eventually I did get the price I was asking for from someone who also understood how difficult it was to find what I was selling.
I'm guessing I could sell the piece quite quickly for 10 mil, but with some patience, I could get 20 - 40 mil for it.

I have tried to make and/or buy a piece like that for a looooong time.
I would say that its really good enough to make me swap around other parts just to get theese sleeves.
