@Keith of Sonoma not enough interest for me to do all that, I don't see why BUT if you got interest make a reasonable offer on items you like.
Since you asked, I will share my thoughts. Because some people use the "taking offers" thing as a way just to get people to overpay for something. Or there could be a huge difference in what different people think the value of an item is. My thought is, any item I own, I know what I would take for it if I were to sell it. It is not hard to set a reserve on it. I owe it to possible buyers not to waste their time, as well as not to have them waste MY time, when we have completely different thoughts on the value of an item.
I don't need to "practice bidding" on items, just to find out the seller has a (in my opinion) completely different thought on the value of an item than I do. I extend the same courtesy to people when I sell items. It just makes it easier when everybody is "on the same page" from the start.
FYI, if someone says they can't put a reserve on an item, then how would they know a good offer anyway? LOL
A "reasonable offer" to one person may be an insult to another. Setting a reserve makes selling, and buying, easier for everybody involved. It also eliminates people trying to "play games".
