Humans get 10% more resources than elves. Eg, a 10 hide animal will give 11 hides if a human cuts it. humans get 11 logs from chopping wood instead of the 10 logs normally.

Elves however, don't get the extra 10%, but they get better chances of getting the rarer kinds of resources, like the new gems from mining and better chances of getting the rarer ore/wood.

eg, out out 10 chopping attempts on a frostwood tree, a human may get 44 frostwood logs and 66 normal logs, while an elf would likely get 50 frostwood logs and 50 normal logs. Less logs overall, but more of the better quality ones.

It's the revision of the Tailor Essay, that is currently waiting for the UO Stratics front page overhaul to become public.

I have the breakdown of every creature I can think of that gives leather, for both human & elf, both their Fel and non-fel amounts.
