A302. Troll Shiled - Pampa DH 1.5b
Before the Golmor event arc on the Japanese shards, there was a troll invasion event ("トロールランド"). At the time, there were only 4 Japanese shards yet launched.
On June 21, 1999, each of the 4 Japanese shards had a Troll Shield, Troll Tunic, and a Troll Axe given. On Yamato, Asuka, and Hokuto, the shield was a 40-stone grey-hued wooden shield. On Wakoku, however, the shield was instead a 90-stone unhued bronze shield... and it was misspelled "Shiled". This is that shield.
In all of the collections I've visited, I have never seen any of the Troll items in-game, until now.
As far as I know, the Golmor set did not include a shield, and I am not sure what date the Shield of Righteousness was given out on Baja, but with that possible exception, [bcolor=#800000]this is the oldest shield in UO[/bcolor].
