hey, I think they changed the ingame sextant you can buy from a tinker

it tells you which world (facet) you're in and your x,y, and most importantly ... z height

look in the lower left corner for the text (the system message area in the classic client)

Even the Mariner's Sextant gives you the z now. The roof of a Keep or Castle is z 46 and with a 3rd level added with the new building walls, it is z 66, provided you built from the second level floor. Ground is zero, first floor is z 6, and a + z 20 for each level up. The ground floor of a Large Tower is z 11 and the roof is z 71.
