k.

so if your a tamer you can have a pet.

thats cool.
but really.... if you have more then one pet out shouldnt you have to have Herding to control them?

uh huh.
kinda blows the mind dosnt it.

just open your mind up to it.
stand back 3 feet and kinda squint.

you'll see it.
its like one of those hidden pictures.

Dunno. I don't use herding to get my dog to follow me, a dog biscuit in hand or pocket works beautifully :D

While i would like to see utility added to herding (I have a post somewhere where i talk about making herding allow the taming of many smaller combat pets sharing HPs/Resists) i *REALLY* do not want another requirement stuffed into my templates.

As it is my tamer is really the only character with room to be my treasure hunter...

No more template requirements ... or 820 points! =)

A Gm herder should be able to herd NPC's or newbies...

/joking. At least the newbie part, lol

Herding with sufficient Animal lore should have a good chance tamable monsters will not aggro on the tamer.

Herding could also be used to buff the effects of a pack hunter.

just because tamers want more powers doesn't mean they should steal a skill from herders. herding has a great many uses for the creative player in need.

Don't you have some characters you need to be working on or something?

Hmmm....??

Herding should when coupled with taming and lore allow more control slots... seriously a herd is typically a lot of something... it should reflect that... I could understand not letting people have two greaters or something... but gimmy two normal dragons... or better yet 5 Imps!!! *Grins Evilly*
or like 8 wolves or something =) I miss the old days I don't need 30 dragons but ya know a few more small pets would be fun =) I do use herding as it is... I think I have about 6 GM herders in total.. But I'd love to see it be useful.... at the very least more stable slots...

there ya go!

i like that.

hell ya you should have 2 greaters.
if you invest 100 points into herding ONTOP of your taming/lore/vet then damn right you should have 2 greaters.

hehehehehe!!!

with herding stealth is key as it is now i can herd all the greater dragons in illsh to the oaks spawn and let chaos happen.. ever tame 100 unicorns or ki rin and release them into an area you want to farm awhile... with herding its a very leathal force!! G.V.P was right it is overpowered as it is, though very time consumeing and skill reliant to setup to be overpowered, It should not change you should be happy with what you got. Its a choice either donate them critters to the zoo or... Imagine what is possible ever do a rat spawn in under 5 min start to champ and less then 2 on barracoon. granted no pinks and fewer ps's but hey it was done in record time! Ahh herding i will have to retrain that skill it was such fun at times and also its great in ec you can controll your pet so well its SWEET.. you do it right it will lead you wherever you go.

serious let herding be or if you do want to add to it some more controll slots and stable space would be nice.
